Broasters Chicken is a casual dining experience that is known for its fried chicken marinated in its secret herbs and spices. We dined at the Campbelltown store and there was seating available inside the restaurant. High chairs available.We deliberately came for lunch as it was recommended to us and Campbelltown was the closest location. We were the only family dining at the time.We ordered the Family Pack with honey mustard sauce on the side. We ordered x8 pieces original and x2 pieces spicy. The food took a while to arrive as it was prepared and fried after we placed the order.The food finally arrived and we received 10 pieces of fried chicken, large fries, 1.25 L soft drink and a tub of gravy (coleslaw was the other option). The order was wrong as instead we were given x8 pieces of spicy and x2 pieces Original. We told the owner and instead of apologizing and rectifying the situation in a professional manner, he disputed what we ordered and said ‘what do you want me to do with the chicken? Throw it out?’. I was not impressed with his attitude but we were given an extra x2 pieces of Original chicken.Despite bad customer service, the chicken was crispy and moist on the inside. Flavours were nice, however, I would have preferred it extra spicy. The fries were golden fried and seasoned nicely. The gravy tasted like mushroom gravy and it was smooth and moreish.Verdict: Fried chicken and fries were nice but I would not be coming back to this store in particular due to our bad experience.
