Since that moment, service and quality of food dramatically improved as well as wait service.A slight decline since the change of management but still compared to what it was, the food is brilliant. Still room for improvement but I recommend to try.
Took my family of eight for lunch. The service was slow and the food was tasteless. Management wouldn’t honour my discount from a rewards program(even after showing them the details including fine print)Won’t be back
If I could give this place 0, I would as there are absolutely no redeeming factors. We waited over an hour and a half for our food and we didn’t receive our entrees beforehand, but with our meal. This would be fine if we asked for that, but we didn’t. The food was not good at all. The Greek salad was all lettuce, the cheese poppers were cold and part of my baked potato was raw. The chicken in the salad was over cooked and hard. The service was woeful in that it was slow and poor. The waitresses did not know how to serve people, or know the menu well enough to give recommendations. One person from our group asked for water four times before she was given a glass, not the bottle she asked for. I would never come back here ever again, and I would warn other potential diners to not come here either.

Wow – I just read the reviews for this place and am very suprised at the bad experiences here.I have visited here many times over the past 4yrs (always on the weekends) and I really can’t complain.The service has always been prompt and friendlyI’ve been to many burger joints and the ‘Texan Blaze Burger’ is packed full of flavour and very filling. The seasoned onion battered rings are great.Ive always visited with my wife and 2 kids and the kids are happy to play in the kids corner – sometimes staff even watch over the kids and hand out balloons.Overall a nice place to relax and get a bite8/7/17 arrived this evening and ordered -see pic.Food was gd!
This review is of Mustang Spur Macarthur Square only. We dropped in for an early dinner. There was only 1 table with people sitting who had ordered their meals. We decided to sit outside and waited. Waitress bought out the menu and that’s the last we saw of anyone. We called a waitress over and she ignored us. We waited about 20 minutes and then decided to go elsewhere. We watched from another eatery as another couple were treated the same. How does this place stay open? It is such a waste of space.
Tried out Spur at Macarthur Square today seeing as though it’s under new management. What a F’ing joke!Ordered the fried cheese sticks and crumbed mushrooms for entree and shared a wings and ribs main, my partner had a cheese melt burger. As you can see by the pics below the food is absolutely terrible. The last photo shows what we left for the sh!t management to see.Entree was 5cm long cheese sticks with dips , taste was average and presented poorly with lettuce and diced tomato as a side salad.Mushrooms were not cooked through and served with tartar sauce (ranch or blue cheese would be better) and was plated with the sauce sitting on top of a bed of shredded lettuce – The wings and ribs taste and look like they have sat in an oven all day just to be smacked onto a plate with chips. There was also ‘onion rings’ that you can see displayed as a sloppy mess of yellow on my plate. One taste and I almost spat it out. The burger was cold when it arrived and the taste was average. Plating also needed some work here. Total cost of the meal was $100 for these servings of Sh!t on a plate with 3 soft drinks. Avoid this place at all costs!
