The best Indian food I have ever tasted. The staff are friendly and both home delivery and dine-in options are prompt.I would like some more atmosphere in the restaurant, perhaps some music and dimmer lighting – might be nice!
Excellent and delicious food (both meat and vegetarian options). The rating would be more for the service as it should considering restaurants are about food and service. Certain staff members could use a lesson in service etiquette. It shouldn’t take over 40 minutes for main dishes to come out after clearing entrees. When asked about how long the mains would come out, instead of apologising (maybe telling us they would find out), the staff member proceeded to tell us they were busy (mind you everyone had since left) and that they were busy from deliveries. I understand that they are busy and that they have deliveries but by telling us that they have been busy with deliveries sort of makes it feel as though they are ignoring dine in customers (note that we ordered everything 1.5 hours before we got our mains). Good job with the reviews on menulog and your deliveries at the cost of ignoring dine in customers. There seems to be no point dining in for hot food. I’ll just order from menulog and wait at home knowing that the wait would probably be shorter than dining in and that we’ll save petrol from a 30 minute car ride and subsequent car park time.
Amazing experience of having tasty food in the right setting. The Chicken Tikka is just awesome. Though the use of spices has been adjusted to suit the varied clientele the taste has not been compromised at all. The good food is well supported by efficient service and superb presentation. I would suggest booking in advance, particularly over the weekend, since in the evening one is likely to find the restaurant packed to its capacity.
I wanted to rate this higher but the raita was a sweet yoghurt with a piece of munt in it nothing like they used to make as it used to be green and tangy. Now the positive very freindly fast service and delicious food.Seriously the best ever butter chicken around. The garlic naan had no garlic, a mistake??? Dunno but was very good anyway. The lamb cutlets were too die for as was the pakora.Hopefully the sweet yoghurt was a one off ill be back though!
Great Service, order to plate in ten minutes and all fresh, quality, authentic curries & all for a reasonable price. Would eat there again…
Total rip-off. Mediocre take-away quality at a premium price is bad enough but then they have the hide to not include rice with any meals and charge $5 extra per serve for it. $5!!! for a bowel of white rice that cost them about 10 cents? Get real.
Rochdale curry. If you know Rusholme or Rochdale etc. i.e. north of England style curries. Genuine good freshly cooked flavours. Some people complain but they have no idea what a good curry should be like. Experiment and drink beer!
