I’m a lazy eater so the steak cubes hit the spot for me even though I wasn’t the one ordering them. It had good flavour. The food here is good with all the classics you expect from a Thai restaurant. The environment is clean and feels upper class.
Ordered the boat noodle soup as it is something Ive never heard of before. The dish itself was alright. I think next time I will just stick to my standard pad see ew I have at any Thai joint. Service was ok, fairly quick, restaurant itself was nicely decorated and had lots of seats indoors and outdoors.
Rice was undercooked, flavours were unbalanced and service was not very prompt.Thai ice tea was pretty!Would recommend going it for anyone local, but not worth the trek.
Nice decor on the inside but wasn’t overly impressed with thai splendid. Took a while to be able to get someones attention to be seated, then when we said we wanted to sit outside they said it was fine, but then requested we moved inside so they could pack up the tables (which was fair enough at first, but they didn’t even step foot outside to start packing up, so we could have sat out there in the end). We ordered the soft shell crab, a chicken pad se-ew and the steamed dim sims. Our waitress asked if we wanted it altogether which we did, but the mains came out and then when we finished them at the very end of the meal (we had even forgotten about them) the steamed dim sims finally came out. They were quite nice which was good, and so was the pad se-ew but unfortunately the crab was quite tasteless and oily. Would return to have the pad se-ew again, but the soft shell crab was rather disappointing
Terrible rules and terrible staff. For the lunch special you only get a free drink if you pay cash which doesn’t make any sense. The sign to get your free drink is hidden at the back of the menu which you can’t even see. Will never come back here again!!
We’ve been here a few times for dinner and food is pretty ordinary. Visited for lunch for the first time on the weekend and we took up their lunch special – pay in cash for a free can of drink. Weirdly we had to order at the counter which never happens when we visit for dinner service.Stuck to the basics, pad thai and pad see ew. Food came out super quick and we did notice that portions were smaller than usual. Guess that’s due to their cheaper lunch pricing. Staff were friendly enough. There are definitely better places for Thai available in the area.
Went for dinner with my fiance on a Tuesday night. Shop was quiet. Service and floor staff although attentive weren’t really friendly.Beef Massaman curry and rice (not pictured) had a nice flavor but was more potato then beef – the sticky pork belly was as good as it looks though.
