Acre is to Sydneys inner west what The Grounds of Alexandria is to the Eastern suburbs. Fresh from paddock to plate concept of eating for some of the produce makes this an unique experience. If you want to try something unique I encourage the Blue Tea!
Excellent beer. The half smoked cauliflower thing was amazing. Cauliflower was perfectly cooked and the tahini sauce with raisins was excellent. Good service, great drinks. All they need is some vegan deserts and I’d be very happy.
Had lunch with friends, love the ambience. Nice open air place, therere animals, garden and kids playground. We ordered:* fresh orang juice* arancini ball* wagyu beef burger* woodfire half chickenThe food were nice Price wise, affordableWorth to try when around.
Totally captivated by the beautiful setting, and pleasantly surprised by the food we ate, so much so I went back there a couple of weeks later and brought some friends along. The menu changes regularly (at least for brunch anyway; I haven’t been there for dinner) so that’s something to keep in mind – I got caught out because I had hoped to order the same thing on my second visit to find it had disappeared from the menu . Also came across some Vietnamese mint (aka laksa leaves to us Malaysians) for sale in their herb garden during a walk-through of the place.
