Solid pub style food at the University of Sydney with great service and speedy food. I ordered a serving of waffle fries and their Tuesday $8 special, Pluto pup with slaw and chips.Personally, their food was on the cold side. Their waffle fries were decent, crunchy and yummy. But my favourite was the crinkled chips, as they had a soft interior and crunchy outside!Plus, you can get as much tomato sauce and chicken salt on your fries as they were self service.
Manning bar has really cheap classic pub food especially when you use access. The burgers are exactly as described, but lack extra detailed. However, this is expected for their price. The serving of fries is also generous for how affordable they are. The staff are also very friendly.
Bar in the school.There was quite a lot of people in the afternoon.I won a bucket of fried chicken in the Oday.And my friend bought me Coca-Cola~haha~The fried chicken with sweet chili was tender and juicy, a little bit spicybut not crispy.At first,we want to have a drink.But we still have lessons.haha!
I used to come here all the time as a Sydney uni student however now that I am not at uni anymore I don’t come here as much (or at all really). But their burgers are AMAZING. And now I can see they have added a lot more variety to the menu. I used to love having the chicken schnitzel burger and the chicken caesar burger. They are very filling and were great value for money although I can also see that the prices have gone up now. Nevertheless, they are well wroth the menu! Super delicious!
