Food was tasty and arrived in a timely manner. We ordered bibimpap, egg baked tofu and Korean spring rolls. However servings weren’t very generous. Service was good and ambience was dimly lit. It was a good experience overall, but I felt that I didn’t receive much value for the amount I paid and servings were quite small!

Very untidy , unclean environment. No bbq smoke exhaust. Bibinbap was good but other dudes were unimpressive. Forgot some items we ordered and we had to remind them.

No frills Korean, but damn good. The Kim chi is unlike any I’ve had before, it is crispy and mild but still full flavoured. Matched with sprouts it is a very good side dish. The seafood pancake here is off the hook, so good. It’s lightly fried, doughy and subtly flavoured which allows the seafood to really sing. Then it’s taken to another level when you dip it into the sweet and sour soy based sauce, which by the way is perfectly balanced.Don’t shy away from the dodgy looking exterior. Inside the service is warm and the food is quality stuff.

Visited Open Korea Restaurant for a quick, casual dinner. Inside was cosy and pleasantly decorated. However, ventilation was poor and the air was fetid with the smell of greasy, fried food.Service was slow; it took a long time for our orders to be taken, and for the food to arrive. The food was extremely greasy and did not taste fresh. Value was poor due to the high cost and low quality of the food. Overall, would not recommend dining here.

Very good!. A small simple restaurant, but was pleasantly surprised with the food. My garlic prawns came out on a hot sizzling that spat everywhere but tasted absolutely fantastic. Recommended!

Open Korea Restaurant. All-you-can-eat dumplingsWe eat dumplings regularly, in Maroubra, Kingsford, Ashfield, etc. These were the worst dumplings we have ever had. The restaurant was dark, gloomy and empty and the service perfunctory. The fried beef, pork and chicken dumplings all tasted the same, the steamed dumplings were undercooked and the prawn and vegetable ones had an awful taste. There was no kimchi available. All in all a most disappointing dinner.
