Craving Southeast Asian food, we happened to stop by Campsie. Seeing the massive Malaysian flag affixed to the front of the store, we were hoping for the familiar friendliness of Malaysian hospitality. However, upon entering, we were neither greeted nor remotely acknowledged, with three waitresses idling and not taking the initiative to at least offer a seat, a table, a menu. Perhaps fine for locals or those used to this but that was shockingly poor form and marred our experience of Cinta Rasa from the get-go.Food was average, but seemed slightly dodgy (undercooked), and the value was questionable.Service was bad and ambience was lacking; lots of argy-bargy, witha couple of loud, rude and physical customers sitting next to us and loud, noisy customers all around.Would only recommend if you’ve got SEA food cravings and quickly were passing by (and there were no other places); probably not worth the trip out here.
