Not much choice. Not very clean. My friend looves the pho here though. So three stars because he liked it. The broth was very meaty tasting. We went back and he got the laksa this time. He said it was good. They’ve improved on the cleanliness but it could be better. We were served quickly.

Best Pho in Australia by far… have been coming here on a regular basis for years and have tried many places but nothing compares to Pho Lam. Love their homemade satay also… Yum!! We try to visit on a weekly basis to feed our Pho craving.
Been living in the area for over 15 years and never tried it until 3 years ago. By far the best pho around with good pricing. Nothing flashy, just good viet food.
[Revisit 26/08/15]Tried their laksa which is their signature dish for Fairfield City signature dish, the dish was Awesome and spicy the level of spice can be altered if you cannot handle HOT. However the stock and broth are delicious and not sickening, the seafood combination are blanched and finished off in the stock so it soaked up some of the broth …. Try Extreme spicy if you dare! But if you cant then ask for it to be mild …. as always until next time … keep eating!!!!![Previous visit]This place has been here for over 20 years, to my amazement this place looks very typical Vietnamese between two other new restaurants.Chef Loan reinterpret Vietnamese southern flavours with herfamily in Vietnam to adapt to the western cultures here without losing the eccentric flavours from her home town. Her spring rolls are amazing and a few of her other dishes hits my favourite list.Recommended Dishes 1. Tapioca noodles with shredded chicken and crap soups (Added sugarcane prawns and sliced pork trotters) Awesome dish! 2. Dry sweet and sour noodles with pork and quail eggs (light dish) 3. Pho with brisket and add an egg yolk 4. Spring rolls (Must get!)Also get Vietnamese ice coffee or fruit shakes while your there, you will not regret! I also heard rumours that they will renovate soon to make it more modern. I cant wait !!!! Until next time …. keep eating!!!! asianfoodninja.com
In such a busy area how does it compete?. I didnt try there Pho but had there spring rolls (which were nice) jackfruit shake (which was great) and there broken rice which was…….different. The long pork rectangle (sorry dont know what to call it) was mini size, the pork chop was……very flat and hard to cut, in fact i had to use my hands to eat it. Not recommended!! ITs one of the worst ive hadService wise it took a little time for the food to come out despite me being the only one there, ambience wise its a little dark and dank and you query the hygiene of the place. Valuse wise its on par with other places in Canley Heights.
