I had stumbled upon this place by accident and I am fortunate for the accident. Have been here only in the morning time when they bake fresh breads with zatar. It’s a very simple place which focuses on a simple menu of pies, and pizzas. Simple breads topped with zatar, oregano. Pies here are simple breads with open and molten cheese in the center. You can get pies with cheese onion mushroom capsicum. Also there is a short break with chest and bacon. Another flat bread topped with mince. It’s very popular for a morning brekkie with the family. The best part is that they bake it fresh in front of you. Awesome place. Very cheap and highly recommended.

My local haunt. Charlie’s is one of my favourite spots to grab a quick bite from. The half meat half cheese with lemon and chilli is my go too and if I’m looking for something a bit more special I’ll grab a Halloumi pie. This place consistently produces great quality food. I always take visiting friend or family there for a relaxed brunch and everyone seems to love it as much as I do.
I have been to many Lebanese bakeries having lived & worked in the inner west my whole life and this place is by far the best of them all! If you haven’t tried it then you need to!!!
Clean and cheap. This places opens at 5.30am. Got here early and ordered a meat and cheese pizza. Seem to be smaller than in other Lebanese bakeries I’ve eaten at. That said, the place has seating and is actually clean since the baking part is out the back. Other places I’ve been to are pretty foul. Pizza was OK but a little oily compared to others.

Delicious and great value!. Love the cheese & manoush combo and the meat pizza – these are my favourites! prices are unbelievably cheap and the service always friendly and quick. I am a weekly visitor at Charlie’s.
