Been meaning to write a review for this place but have been busy lately. We kept walking past and missing this place – it is within a little alley, a true hidden gem! We ordered takeaway prawn sugarcane, crispy pancake and special beef pho. The prawn sugarcane was a little lacking in flavour, made up by the sauce it came with. The accompanying salad was well flavoured. The crispy pancake was packed with veggies and shrimps and was really delicious, and the fish sauce with it was so good. The pho… This may be one of the best bowls of pho I’ve had in Sydney. It may be because there are two styles of pho (Northern vs Southern) and being from Melbourne, I feel like the pho broth in Sydney tends to be the other style, so I was so happy to find the broth that I know and love. The pho was also generous with the meat and beef balls. Slightly on the expensive side, especially for Vietnamese, but it was a really delicious meal!30/11/18 Have ordered pho from here twice since the original post and unfortunately, the broth is not consistent, each time tasting different. Yesterday’s pho broth tasted quite bland compared to previously. Still very generous with the meats.
