Nice restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere. Soft shell crab was delicious and fresh. Trio of fish for main excellent however the scallops were overcooked. Apple and custard crumble dessert was not overly sweet and was perfect to end an enjoyable meal. Seafood platter for 2 looked amazing, will go back to try to conquer.
Very Nice?. I’m not sure what previous reviews where about? My wife & I found this restaurantvery nice.. Entree: Sydney rock oysters natural with wasabi mayo – very fresh & Lobster bisque with crab meat $16 – Ill be back for this dish alone, loved it & value. Mains: Confit duck leg, very good value & nice dish. Fish of the day – Barramundi – very big portion but fish lacked taste, maybe not as fresh. Staff & service very good, will go back.
Always great. My partner and I dine here regularly and find it to be very good. The lobster bisque is particularly tasty and the seafood platter is unique and very good. The ambiance and decor outshine any other restaurant in the shire.
What on earth?!. My wife and I tried out this restaurant after hearing a friend of ours rave on about it. I am always cautious when I hear praise of such magnitude from someone who lives so close to the restaurant they are praising.The restaurant was very well presented and the staff were great, all was going well and then the food came out. My scallops were terrible and the Crab linguine was awful. It was the first time that I have not finished a meal for a very long time. My wife was also struggling to soldier through her order, which I could tell she was not enjoying.The toilets were atrociuos and the smell was off this planet. The only part of my night I enjoyed was the quick walk to the gelato shop a few doors down…Never agian…
We are definately regulars here, the place has been around for easily over 10 years serving delicious seafood. I’m practically addicted to their oysters with wasabi mayo dipping sauce.
Second visit food still great , service was just ok , main course came out too close to the entree.
