I got a really nice coffee in the morning and awesome root beer soda float in the afternoon. This cute milk bar/ diner has really amazing selection of US/ European sweets, cereals and drinks. Friendly service too.
There’s probably nothing healthy here but if you want to make a full meal out of old-style milk bar desserts, it’s perfect. I got the mini pancakes with banana, which might be one of the more restrained offerings except for all the maple syrup, cream and ice cream. They were very tasty and filling for just $7. Also a thick shake. Nothing fancy and not as thick as I was expecting but pretty tasty, especially with the fresh coffee shot in it, and they bring you a full glass plus the leftovers in the big metal cup that they make it in, which gives you a whole second glass, all for $5.50. It’s a pretty unique place and excellent value.
