Purchased the Ribs for 2 (pork). Although it was a good serve the pork ribs were overcooked as far some being black charcoal, dried out and toughbut well covered in BBQ sauce. There was also not much meat on the bones. The potato and the corn were fine.
Pork ribs were tender with plenty of meat on the bone. Clearly not slow cooked over wood chips though (not smokey or ‘come clean off the bone’). Tried the BBQ & honey teriyaki bastes – both were good. Would happily get again if craving local delivery ribs.Chicken enchilada was tasty if you thought of it as a ‘Mexican inspired wrap’ (made by people who have no idea about Mexican cuisine) – it was nothing like an authentic enchilada (either Mexican or TexMex style), consisting of a filling of chopped up chicken breast, raw red capsicum, onion & grated cheese, wrapped in a large wheat tortilla. It had not been smothered with any sauce or cheese and baked (I didn’t think to take a picture until it was nearly finished, but I have attached it anyway so you get the idea). Still a filling and tasty wrap, but if looking for more ‘authentic’ Mexican, try elsewhere.
Pretty poor. We got the chilli pork ribs and a beef burrito. The ‘chilli’ part of the ribs was a load of sweet chilli sauce chucked over them. Weren’t very tender. But they were a lot better than the burrito which was just bad. If you have to go here, chance the ribs but avoid everything else on the menu.
Why have I not discovered this awesome place earlier!? Such a great little hidden takeaway joint… The pork ribs are amazing!
