40 mins for any action to happen. Kids were left sitting with nothing to do or eat. Only one chef for 18 people meant the view wasn’t great. The chef was ok and did his best. A lot of cost cutting going on in terms of staff to customers. Food was ok but you don’t go to a teppanyaki for the food. Won’t be returning

Wonderful. The service was wonderful, the prices were low even though the food was delicious and we were very entertained. Our chef made us all smile and even though when throwing the food i dropped the egg on my pants, it was still worth the fun ! I recommend for everyone to just try it out!
Great night out. Had a small group attend on a Monday to celebrate my daughters birthday. Beautiful fresh food first followed by the egg and rice toss tricks. I liked this teppanyaki a lot, the quality of the food was not compromised by the fun factor. Great chef and friendly staff. We’ll be back soon.
Not happy with service at Kyoto Teppan Yaki. This was the worst teppan yaki experience that I’ve ever had. I booked the table one month ahead for our staff Christmas dinner. We were sat down on one standalone table initially just to be moved before dinner started to share another table with another group. The problem was we were so cramped together that two of us were literally sitting at the corner of the table. The owner/manager did not care when we complained. Guess what? The vacated table was never used through the entire session! It was shocking service! The food was average. I’m sorry I shall not recommend this restaurant to anyone and I’ll never go back again.
One of the better teppanyaki places, the chefs are entertaining.
