Not bad for a quick and easy dinner whilst finishing up your shopping. The pork chop with rice and egg was massive, and tastes pretty good too. Nothing too flashy but it just hits the spot. When I’m in the area, I would definitely drop by to try something else.
Noodlepot is in the foodcourt of Carlingford Court. They open past 5pm every night so it’s possible to have dinner there at the food court. This is my go to place if I’m very hungry as the serving size is big. This time I had the wonton noodle soup. My other favourites from here are the pork chop with noodle soup, pork chop with rice and Kway teow (not exactly authentic char Kway teow but it’s quite nice). The wonton noodle soup is not as good as the one in Wok n Roll in the same food court but it’s still quite good. They get very busy during lunch time but the wait is not long. Everything is cooked fresh other than what is in the Bain Marie
It’s no wonder why this place is popular in Carlingford, the menu items seem to be made fresh to order. Each dish comes out piping hot and delicious. Had the crispy chicken with rice and the chicken was juicy and well seasoned with a lovely crisp skin. I also got a beef pho, although the beef isn’t quite as rare as I usually would like it was still a very nice pho. The broth is rich and there is a nice balance of herbs flavouring the broth. The noodles are generous as is the serving of beef. A nice spot to get a god pho fix without breaking the bank eatventures.net
