Very friendly customer service. The Wok chef is very good, strongly recommend to order the stir fry food. Yum Cha (Dim Sum) is not their strength. I wouldn’t go to the restaurant if I just want Dim SumThe restaurant is a bit old and need to improve the lightings. However, taste comes first to me.
This place has been around for years and still remains popular with the locals. Ive done dinner and yum cha there and its great. The pricing is reasonable and pork buns are really tasty.
Eaten in a few times and food and service quite good.In a hurry ordered take away and what a difference, food less than average, wait time twice what was specified.Never go there again for take away or eat in.
A well priced yummy and satisfying yum cha meal that costed 80 for 4 ppl. Ordered all the typical yum cha dumplings, buns & spare pork steamed ribs, which supposedly tasted good to my meat eating family. Even for myself the vego, I left a happy satisfied customer with veggie dumpling, veg filled rice noodle, and really tasty steamed choysum (abit more substantial & variety for us vegos and better tasting compared to other well known yum cha places). Negatives would be there was smaller non veg menu compared to what I have seen in other places and the yumcha dishes did get cold quickly. Will definitely be going back to try their Chinese dinner menu and whenever I need to fulfill my yum cha cravings. So glad to have found a local decent priced yum cha place. Overall their variety maybe less but that is compensated by the good tasting food and good accomodating service.
Never got to eat – atrocious service (twice!). Our first experience was waiting 45 minutes for an entree (there for midweek lunch and the place was empty). the entree was nice enough but didn’t have time to stay for a main so left disappointed and a little hungry .decided to give them another go on the weekend, sunday lunch.we simply were not waited on. the place was’n’t even full. In the 30 minutes we were there we didn’t see anyone getting food. not even drinks , a lot of other people were complaining as well. we ended up leaving after giving them another 10 minutes to bring the drinks.save your time and money – go to the Castle Hill RSL yum cha – food is just as nice and I’ll guarantee you’ll have your first dish on the table in under 2 minutes if you want.
Excellent value. Fantastic food. Reasonable prices.. Ask the manager for recommendations and enjoy a Chinese dish that you may never have had before! Never disappointed! Their pippies are amazing (go on a Thursday night as their seafood order from their suppliers come in on Thursday afternoon, so Thursday’s pippies are large and fresh and succulent.
Super fresh food, good sizes, good variety. Awesome and efficient service. Amazing price. 100 for 3 people where we normally would have paid 150-200 at places like phionix. Strongly recommend for yum cha
