I made a booking for two people a week prior to me heading into the restaurant. When I arrived at the restaurant the waitress was on the phone (which is fine) but she didn’t smile or acknowledge me at all. When the lady got off the phone she continued to ignore me and use her tablet. When she finally looked up, I told her I had a booking. She didn’t respond and got two menus and then made a noise and then muttered something under my breath. When we were ready to order our meals, we had to double check if there were any nuts in the meals. She was unable to provide us with an answer… We ordered 4 dishes and she could only give us a definite answer for 1 dish. For such a quality restaurant, we were disappointed that we had to leave because the chefs didn’t know whether or not there were nuts. This is not the first time we have been to this restaurant and previously the chef has been very accomodating and helpful. This lady was very unprofessional and unhappy to help us.
