We occasionally popIm for s quick meal when we couldnt be bothered cooking. Very well priced and good serving sizes. Food is always good. The only problem with this venue is if you go for dinner it is VERY noisy. Lunch not as bad, but certainly not a relaxing spot for dinner
Absolutely foul security guards here. Beware ESPECIALLY if you are a male. We witnessed them brutally assault a patron 3 weeks ago, and 2 nights ago as my boyfriend and his brother were grabbing dinner and a beer they were forcefully removed from the venue… purely because they had witnessed the aforementioned attack. Many other people have had similar experiences at this place.
I e been going to hillside forMany years now. And it just keeps getting better. The decor is all new. The staff and friendly and welcoming. The food is lovely and great specials to cater for all taste buds.
For a pub/casual kinda place, Hillside Hotel is at the top of its game. Not only is the food amazing, the service is 10/10 with staff bringing table water (with lime!) to your table and taking your buzzer for you so they can bring it to your table once it is ready.I highly recommend the steak ($15, or $18 with sauce), sticky wings and their sangria jug.
Came here a couple of times for lunch. The place was very quiet. We sat in the non smoking area but could still smell smoke from people smoking nearby. The place did not feel clean and was quite dark. Food was cheap and plentiful. They had weekday specials and they looked like pretty good deals.
Best local pub in the area, great atmosphere and great value for quality food! The staff are always friendly, I would recommend to friends and family.
Had a great experience at hillside. Great atmosphere and only pub/bistro that collects your buzzer and brings the food out to you. Such great service
