We were going to an event to the Casula Powerhouse and wanted to get something to eat quickly and weren’t expecting much. We were so pleasantly surprised that we wanted to stay because the food was exceptional and the service was amazing. Will be going back and it’s an hour’s drive from us!
Good service and delicious Chinese cuisine (not really authentic but popular amongst Westerners). My fav dishes are the Mongolian Lamb and the King Prawns combination. Price is reasonable except when they charged us $2 for chilli/soy sauce.
Spontaneously decided to come here for dinner last night as we did not feel like cooking. It was very quiet when we arrived, which was not much to our surprise as it was 8pm and way past normal dinner hours. For entree we ordered the short soup and sweet chicken and corn soup and for mains we opted for the singapore noodles, special fried rice and crispy pork ribs in peking sauce. The short soup was ok but had a very light flavour whereas the chichen and corn soup had a deliciously sweet flavour and thick consistency, making it quite enjoyable. The Singapore noodles and fried rice were also average and had a light flavour in taste, however the pork ribs in peking sauce where really good. They were crispy, as their description states and the peking sauce they were coated in had a sweet and sour taste to it.For a local restaurant chans canton village goes quite alright and they have the coolest interor, sitting in the restaurant itself makes you feel as if you’ve travelled to China during the Chinese New Year, making it quite a fun dining experience. (Wish we had remembered to take a photo of the interior). As an added bonus the owners are really lovely and friendly, theyre always up for a chat and just make you feel very welcome. We reccomended this place, especially as a nice date spot for those westies when you just cannot be bothered travelling into the city.
Its the first time me and my partner have eaten here frirndly staff food was amazing the only problem we had was it took awhile for our food to come out but the was understandable as it was extermly busy their tonight i would go back and eat their again
My all time favourite Chinese restaurant!! Have been going here for about 10 years now & I love it now as I did the very first time I went (if not more) Chans do the best combination satay I’ve ever had, and I absolutely love the service! Best mixed enteee’s & honestly I love pretty much…
Quite the view from inside! Amazing traditional Chinese decor. The outside looks run down and horrible but the food definitely compensates for that! Although the Chinese food is to a western style it still tastes absolutely divine with the wait time being reasonable although less than average service
