First time here I tried the Pork ribs with curly fries and it was nice! Second time I tried the Memphis Burger and it was mediocre. The patty lacked flavour and the chips were average. My partner got the steak salad which he enjoyed and the chicken wings to share. The wings were average for me, I thought it lacked flavour but was smothered in peri peri sauce which was suppose to be the dip so I could not eat it. My partner enjoyed the wings though. Overall food for me was below average. Ambience and decor 3/5Would I come back? Only for the ribs!
I always get the big daddy philly with cheesy curly fries. Fries are always crunchy and the philly is usually dripping with deliciousness (or fat, whatever you want to call it). Definitely a heart attack on a plate, but you’ll die happy. The only downside is sometimes you’ll have to wait a while for your food, even when it’s relatively empty.
Just got back from ‘Memphis Wings’ in Casula.Ordered the – Big Daddy Philly (combo) and Beef Brisket Burger (combo) with 2 cheese dogs and a side of 6 bbq chicken wings (chipolte sauce) for the family. The service was nice and the wait was under 15 minutes. The kids kept themselves amused with the kids playground just next to the restaurant. The best of the bunch were the chicken wings (meat came off the bone very easily). The philly was ok apart from chunks of fat in the samdwich. The brisket was average (dry), and the curly fries had a nice crunch to them.Overall it was ok (sorry about the picture – should have taken a picture before we began eating!)
The staff were awesome but the food was horrible, the spicy wings I ordered were only warm like they were microwaved and the Burger meat was almost stale, lovely staff but terrible food.
Although Memphis Wings serves up some pretty enjoyable food, not sure what all the fuss is about. Its good for a local eat though as there aren’t many American food places to eat in Liverpool. Word of warning to those interested in coming here: DO NOT order their hottest sauce. Just dont do it. It’s REALLY hot! I’m very tolerant of chilli and this nearly killed me. Even the staff warned me not to order it but i did anyway. I’ll eat here again but nothing with that sauce on it. Aside from that ridiculously hot sauce, this place goes quite alright.
This place can be a hit or miss, just depending on what you order or which day you go. On this particular instance, I came here on a Saturday for lunch. There weren’t many customers but there was a 30 minute wait for the food. I ordered the philly cheese sub combo which comes with curly fries and a drink. It was quite nice but it did lack a bit in flavor and I got over it pretty quickly. The menu seems a bit pricey as I find the food here to be pretty average compared to other places that serve American style food. It is worth giving this place a try but they do need to improve on the service and wait times.
One word for this place that sums it up – SSSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
