Not like the fancy wineries, but nice enough. Went for lunch. Had to line up for 30 mins to order which sucked. However, lunch came 10 mins later so that kinda made up for it. Decent food, 6/10. Pot pie was good. Not cheap either. $47 for a pie and a chicken salad for the wife.
We stopped here for lunch and found the atmosphere and surroundings very welcoming and comfortable. The price of the food is a little expensive, but the extremely large portions (maybe a bit too large) make up for it. The food was good, but a bit too oily for our liking. Service was quite quick as well.
Had steak & ale pie with mash & peas, also chips & side of veggies. Big enough to share, which we did. Very tasty and quickly served. Went well with a local beer or two.Other patrons appeared to be enjoying their lunches and young Matt Purcell provided some local entertainment.
Great food and great value. Had the crab cakes, pork belly and ceaser salad. Well cooked and generous servings.
