  Poor Service. I visited Shakey Tables for dinner and say the food was lovely. They have a great chef. Unfortunately I was very disappointed by the service from the owner/manager. From the minute we sat down he had a degree of attitude that was upsetting. We even politely tried to address with him during the meal. We were then asked to leave. I was amazed at such poor customer service especially form the owner. I must point out that we were not rude in any way and even kept or voices very quite so no other guest could hear yet he did raise his voice. I never bother writing reviews but my partner so so upset for this experience I feel I have to share.

  Best food. Had dinner here and didn’t have high expectations but after dining here I can’t wait to return for the best food I’ve eaten in the Valley. From the moment we were seated we felt special the room is a little quirky and arty but that is all part of the feel just lovely. Every mouthful was a revelation thoroughly enjoyed. The wine list is also good with a selection of their own wines that go nicely with the dishes on the menu. The food we were served not only delighted the palate but the eyes as well as it was all so artfully presented. Top restaurant well worth a visit and reasonably priced will be returning soon.

  Over rated . The wagu tasted like old steak and trout was fishy. The presentation was ok. Not recommended !!

  Fantastic. Best meal I’ve had in the Hunter. The place has a good atmosphere thanks to good lighting and clever design even though there were very few people there when we visited. The service was professional and friendly, and the menu was clever. The food, when it arrived, satisfied completely. A bit on the expensive side but totally worth it.
