I visited Blaxland Inn as apart of my Hunter Valley Tour and I think the food was pretty good. I ordered the beef and red wine pie which was served with potato and pea mash. I loved the flavour of the filling, the pastry could’ve been thinner as it was too thick for my liking. The market fish was Barrumudi that day which was cooked beautifully!
Had a pleasant dinner here at the Blaxlands Inn. The staff were friendly and professional. We had the steak and fish of the day which were both good. Can’t really complain for a simple meal. The place itself has a nice atmosphere as some photos online made it look like a pub.
In our annual trip to the Hunter Valley region, we went to Blaxland Inn restaurant. Since Zomato isn’t exactly a reliable source for this region, we decided to try them out based on their menu offerings. Blaxland Inn is located in the main road leading to the centre of Pokolbin. When we were there, there was a renovation going on the building next door. The restaurant itself was looking quite vintage.
Enjoyed a great lunch here – midweek. Very good service and food. Ordered a steak cooked medium and it was spot on. I would recommend trying out this place.
