Stopped here for lunch with my older two boys, food was plentiful, value for money and the staff were great – very welcoming particularly to the boys. Country cafe just the way they should be, worth the visit.

Hmm It was ok. I work in hospitality and I know how hard it is to keep everyone happy. The service was fine and the coffee it self was ok but the milk had a funny taste. It may be the brand of milk or over heated. My husband ordered bacon and eggs, he enjoyed his breakfast. I on the other hand didn’t really enjoy mine. I ordered baked beans and sausages on sourdough. I have seen some bad cooking in my time BUT deep fried sausages? Yuk! I couldn’t believe it, the skin was all pulled back and crispy, the meat was dry and crunchy and one of the sausages had an odd taste. It is not hard to pan fry or grill a sausage. The baked beans where nice and the sourdough as well. Who ever owns the business, please learn from this. No one wants deep fried meat for breakfast.

So Dissapointed. We use to eat there all the time. Went there for breakfast today and it will be the last time ever !! They won’t do scrambled eggs on the weekends, the mushrooms where slimy and tasteless over priced and disgusting !

I had the savoury mince & toast I was told I made the right choice, boy was I wrong. Unfortunately I was hungry so I ate it, someone please get me a priest so I can exercise the demon from my body. It was a mrs macs pie filling with toast.

Extremely friendly staff in a cosy cafe atmosphere. Cash only and no EFPOS but with good home style breakfasts and nice service. The melts are especially good, as are the smoothies and iced chocolate. For a good old fashioned breakfast without pretensions I’d certainly come back.
