Location is just amazing . And ambience of the restaurant was pretty good . Breakfast options are really less. Food was kind a ok. Tried Eggs Benedict with Cashew Hollandaise & Wilted Spinach & Salmon, Veggie Fritters made with live yeast and deep fried served with Cashew Hollandaise & Chilli Jam and OMG potatoes with aioli and shaved Parmesan. And some coffee and cinnamon tea.
Beautiful quiet setting – great for brunch – really good servings and great quality. Relaxed atmosphere.On the way out there you feel like it is a bit out of the way but it is well worth the trip (its really not that far away – its just quieter than the side by side winery areas around the Hunter Valley)
Kids had fish which was good but the side of beans was boiled and unseasoned. Pasta and lamb salad were bland and flavourless. The wait was huge and one of the lamb salads had a hair in it. Very disappointed and won’t be back again. The venue was very warm inside and not air-conditioned.
Great intention so badly executed. We had high tea. There was too much of it and it had too little flavour. They should researched high tea. There was no balance. Many ideas were tried but it failed hard.
