If you are after a spot of dessert and coffee in amongst all the wine in the Hunter Valley, this is the place to be for all you with a sweet tooth.‘Crispy green apple royal’ – green apple mousse, toffee centre, lemon chiffon covered in Sabor’s green apple glaze set on top of a chocolate tart. I enjoyed the ‘green apple’ part, it was light and airy like a mousse should be and the toffee apple centre was not too sweet at all. Disappointingly the chocolate base was super hard, I could barely cut through it with my fork, I really need a food knife. I almost gave up attempting.Pictured here also are the other desserts our table ordered which everyone seemed to enjoy (Black Forest cake, lemon meringue, snickers cheesecake and a mousse cake).
Beautiful setting looking out across the vineyard. Food looks amazing but looks better than it is. The base of our desert was so hard it was impossible to cut even with a knife. We ended up returning it. Prices are up there so would expect better. Coffee took forever to arrive. Overall very disappointed.
Wow yum! What a beautiful place and what beautiful food. Really nice place for some desserts and coffee. Priced are not too bad, I definitely think it’s worth the money.
Previous reviewers recommend the Biku Bannofee. Can’t say we were disappointed. The Mrs doesn’t really fancy cream but she seems to agree that it goes well with this desserts.Went for the simple Apple & Raspberry Crumble- like the above it didn’t disappoint. Combination of warm crumbly goodness with the simple vanilla ice cream. Yums.Definitely not the place to go if you want to stick to your diet!
