By far the worst dining experience ever. The waitress was rude and lacked any skills in serving food. The duck (over $30 a plate) was undercooked and simply unedible. The entre was $25 for three! prawns. The kid’s meal ($15) included a handful of pasta with cheese that was blunt in taste and looked unappetizing. The kid’s meal came with literally four chips on the side. We paid $132 dollars and left hungry and bitterly disappointed. Stay away from this place.

Was very excited to try this restaurant. We had sat down and and noticed our cutlery had food on it and wine glass had lipstick. We asked the waitress for a new wine glass and cutlery set. She had given us another glass but realised there was still lipstick and needed to change it again – not a good look. The food was ok, I had the pork belly and my parter had the eye fillet which he had asked medium rare and had received the toughest meat ever. The restaurant was not busy at all so there was no excuse. Later on, we paid for the bill and the waitress did not come back with our change. We had to ask another waitress working there where our change was and the lady that had taken our money knew what we were talking about and straight away gave us our change and said she was going to give it on the way out. This was clearly an excuse and her trying to steal money from us. Very unprofessional and would not recommended this restaurant to anyone and will definitely not be going back again.

Came in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon with my partner (As you do). The outlay has a terrarium like feel with the indoor plants. Staff were really helpful and friendly.Had the beef slow cooked pie, found it to be quite nice the crust was thick and crunchy, and the slow cooked beef was juicy and tasty. (3/5)My partner got the lamb shoulder, tender, juicy with a good pairing of sauce. (3/5).Food here is decent quality and matches the pricing. Would come again in the future.

1st time to the Hunter Valley. We went as a group of 8 after work. The atmosphere was lovely, the staff went above and beyond and the food was sensational. They also had an extensive wine list too. It will be hard to return to the Hunter and be willing to try somewhere else after this now.
