Great food at great prices in a great spot.I ordered the set deal with the pan fried pork buns and the mini wonton bowl.Pan fried buns were done fresh and were incredible. They had a crunchy bottom from the frying, a solid thickness of dough and a great pork filling that was moist and just the right amount of oil. A serving of 8 of these parcels is the cherry on the top of cheap eats. You do unfortunately pay for this great experience with a little in waiting time as they’re done fresh in front of you.The mini wonton bowl was solid, with a pleasant white soup and a generous serving of smaller thumbsized ish wontons. Nothing objectionable, just solid wontons.Considering that it’s right next to the exit of Chatswood station and with what appears to be a very reasonably priced noodle and rice selection, I will be back for more high quality dough.PS They have the usual pair of self serve vinegar and chili oil so no concerns there.
Worst place ever for dumplings. We were the only customers in their shop, we could see the chef cleaning his nose in the sink. The waitress served us these dumplings, they were fried and the dough was all white in the inside like they made them ages ago. The filling was good though. And then she gave me cutlery thinking I could not eat with chopsticks. I called her to ask for chopsticks, gave it to me and went back to talk with another staff, no water, no serviettes. It felt like we werent welcome there, talking is more important than serving customers.
