Do you like sport? Do you like cheap beer? Then The Agincourt Hotel is the place for you.Do you like craft beer? Do you like a pleasant environment? Then maybe not so much. This is a sports bar that lives up to the description the upstairs is filled with so many screens (including a giant projector) that it seemed possible to see almost every single match in every single sport happening globally, simultaneously. Beers on offer include the full Coopers range, a few Aussie brews as well as that ubiquitous cheap Asian offering, Tiger ($6 / schooner). The publican might like to consider updating the carpet in the upper bar which has a distinctly 1980s look to it and and judging from the smell. thernbdiary.com

We had a few coldies downstairs and decided to have a few steaks and burgers to go with. The food was as expected – nothing to overly complain about but nothing to write home about either – just your typical pub food.

Good honest pub food. I had a rump, perfectly cooked and tender. Cheap for the quality.

The upstairs eatery offers a reasonable selection of well prepared meals, however the problem isn’t the food but the carpet. Thanks to the venue nature of the hotel there is an unpleasant odour emanating from the floor which really interferes with the enjoyment of the meal.
