Underwhelming, disappointing and bland. Given the positive reviews, perhaps the kitchen was missing a key person. Table of 4 that got the tasting menu – snails were very unpleasant: cold with chunks of solid butter (kitchen forgot to heat them, they were replaced), steak was cooked well but over-seasoned, fish was over cooked and not a pleasant dish, dessert was lovely. Friendly but ineffective wait staff.
Order the duck confit and it just came with the duck and the potato rosti underneath. The flavors werent really balanced well. The lobster ravioli was quite flavorless. The broccoli was half cold but then also mushy. The duck skin was nice but that was it. The service was fine but the bread was probably the best part of the meal.
