Brickfields used to be my local bakery when I lived in Chippendale. There is always a small gathering of people outside, lured by the artisanal bread and the small but delectable pastries selection. I came here for lunch today, as I was just passing through. I ordered a simple bacon sandwich that seriously hit the spot and more. Along with it came all the great memories are living in this vibrant neighbourhood, thank you for that mid afternoon nostalgia.
I had been wanting to come here for a while because it is always so busy on the weekends! Finally made it. I had a turmeric latte and the muesli and fruit. The latte was delish, quite sweet so Im not sure if there was lots of sugar in it. The muesli was nice, nothing to write home about. I would have loved to try one of their sandwiches, which looked delicious but I just wasnt feeling like one because it was too early for me. The staff were really lovely. The prices were a bit too high, which is a bummer.
