We ordered food from their Shanghai menu. No.1 and the shallot pancake. The dumplings was yummy and tasted like home, the spinach skin of the dumpling is an interesting twist. However the shallot pancake didnt taste so authentic. Overall, great price!

I’ve only ever had the dumplings from here, and I have tried the vegetarian dumplings and the pork and prawn. I thought they were both quite decent, but I would like to try the wonton and noodle dishes too. Service has been a little varied and it can take some time to get the food unfortunately. I have had just about warm dumplings served to me before too, but usually they are hot when we pick them up. The bbq pork buns here are usually nice, sometimes again they are served a little cold theminiaturelife.com

BBQ Pork Buns are a must from Hong Kong Diner. They took a little while to come out but are obviously fresh out of the steamer. The bun was soft like a cloud and slightly sweet. The filling was flavoursome. So delicious!

Went to spice alley and visited a couple of places for dinner. We tried the fluffy pork puns and chive and prawn dumplings. All tasty and very fresh! Came out fast too. You can get eat in or take away. aroundtheclockfoodie.com

Always my top 3 pick of restaurants in Chippendale. I can eat nothing but these prawn and chives dumplings for weeks and still not get tired of it.
