Cool little spot with a funky beer garden. Traditional pub menu of snitties and steak with good quality burgers. Fried chicken burg is crispy and juicy with a nice sirracha hit and the battered fries are on point.

Over priced & over cooked meals served with flat beer by rude staff in a non family friendly atmosphere makes for a rather forgettable afternoon. I do not recommend this crappy establishment. Lord help you if they don’t like your appearance!

The Lord Gladstone Hotel aka Chippo Lord does a great $10 burger deal on Mondays and Tuesdays for lunch and dinner. Seriously, a burger and fries for $10 that isn’t a fast food place? Sign me up… I popped by for lunch with a mate and ordered their cheeseburger but added another patty for good measure for $5.Double beef, triple cheese, onion, pickle, ketchup, mustard, burger sauceNot bad Chippo Lord, not bad…and for $10 to boot. The beef was a flame broiled medium rare and had a decent amount of flavour, kind of a cross between Hungry Jack’s and Macca’s. The bun was soft and held up to the contents, but I wouldn’t have minded if it was slightly toasted for some texture and to ease up on how soft it is. The toppings were pretty good, definitely had a classic cheeseburger taste and was super cheesy. Liked the onions but really couldn’t taste the pickles or burger sauce. All in all a decent burger for a great price, and better than Cheekyburger down the road.Pop by the Lord Gladstone for a cheap and cheerful burger feed on Monday’s and Tuesdays.Beef: 3.8Bun: 3.7Toppings: 3.7Overall: 3.73/5 theburgerhand.com

A local pub with great food. If you just want a drink or a meal gladstone hotel is a place to go. An outside area with an upstair section for selected friends.

  • Live To Eat

The Lord Gladstone has previously lacked appeal, as a dark and somewhat dingy night spot but my opinion has been completely turned around after trying their food. The buttermilk fried chicken with collard greens, cornbread, gravy and mac & cheese is outstanding! The burgers coming out of the kitchen looked very appetizing and clearly people are there to eat!
