Had the Mamak Meet Goreng. Food was good, decent sized portion. Friend had laksa with fried chicken. Tasted pretty good, nice mix between the sweet and sour, quite authentic.
Absolutely delicious Singapore noodles. One of the best Ive had in sydney. Great atmosphere in spice alley and quick and friendly service.Tip – there is no hot sauce on the counter , so ask for it, its really good!
I’ve only been to Spice Alley twice and both times, I ordered from Old Jim Kee; I’ve had the Penang White Curry Laksa and the Mee Goreng – both are very well done and comparable to what you can expect to find back in Malaysia. And of course, make sure you wash it down with a cup of teh tarik (pulled tea) if you want to eat like a (Malaysian) local 😉
