I’ve been here twice, one for the steak and another for the beef pho. Nothing wrong with the food, it was not bad at all. Portions are well for the price and service time was reasonable. Overall. Its just typical restaurant with same old menu.

This place is right across the road from UTS, therefore relatively busy during lunch hours. Beef pho here is not bad. The soup is tasty and has a strong pho smell with lots of herbs. The only downside when I was there, was that the noodles were overcooked & therefore too soggy.

Place was relatively busy when we walked past so we decided to give it a go.Ordered two beef pho and also some rice paper rolls with prawn and pork. The rice paper rolls were awful, no flavour at all, the pork used was all fatty (not a lot of meat), and the peanut dipping sauce was revolting. The pho was okay, no where near the best but the soup did have a nice nourishing taste to it. However the ratio of noodles to soup to beef was very off; not a lot of beef and too much noodle. There were big clumps of fat all throughout the dish (as in big balls of fat), which really ruined the dish for me – not something you want from a dining out experience.Won’t be returning as there is far better pho available elsewhere.Service was friendly though, even though it was super busy we didn’t wait very long for the food to come out. I had the beef pho and my partner had a clay pot rice dish. Both were very tasty and the place was clean, quiet, nice staff & the food came out very quick. Overall it was a nice meal on a week day when you can’t be bothered cooking, nothing fancy.

Good ol bowl of beef ball pho. Can’t go wrong and hits the spot. The side Viet spring rolls weren’t the best. A tad burnt and it had lousy iceberg lettuce leaves which they didn’t give enough of considering there were 5 spring rolls that needed to be wrapped.

Wagyu pho $16.50! Hmmmm yeah I will have a punt…. Idealistically speaking this should have been wonderful.. It makes perfect sense wonderful nutty flavours of wagyu in a hot bowl of pho what can be better… That is if it was done correctly… At 16.50 this is probably the most expensive bowl of Pho in Australia if not the world..I mean the holly grail of pho joint in Bankstown is only 14.50 albeit they don’t claim wagyu credentials… But when you boil the Buggery of any piece of meat it is going to taste like saw dust.. This is what I got… Ok let’s be fair and sat firstly the broth isn’t bad and serving size was large.. But when you go for the signature that is proclaimed as having only 10-15 servings available per day you clinch your fist and hope it was your lucky day to score a bowl.. Slurping my way through I keep thinking why there was only 15 bowls cause frankly I am sure the broth is the same as the other non wagyu versions and after tasting the meat pretty sure it was only the sliced beef that was wagyu… I know this cause i tasted a glimmer of its former nutty fatty goodness even if its in a saw dust state. PHO BO Dac Biet means special which means combination which means lots of funky stuff… All I got was 3 pieces of the poorest excuse as tendons! Where is the tripe??? Ok am I being mean here .. Maybe I am but can you blame me? Lack of funky stuff ok no biggie, saw dust meat ok no biggie if broth is half decent, misleading suggestion of limited quantity ok a marketing ploy and still no drama… But what I cannot forgive is you lead me on a false hope of something that could have been so wonderful!
