Well this shop is not Authentic Indonesian cuisine, more likely Malaysian.“Tasting plate” wasn’t worth the price, just rice, rendang ( Malaysian style ) and shredded ice berg.Very disappointing!

When you mention about tasting plate, I am expecting some centre piece with lots of condiment to try surrounding. Not this case! Bought a “tasting plate” beef rendang with rice.Basically just a plain rice, what supposed to be a dried beef curry ( rendang ) and garnished with shredded iceberg lettuce and fried onion.Flavour was more to Malaysian taste compare to Indonesian.Worse tasting plate ever!

Tried out the beef rendang tasting plate and I’m not sure why it’s called a tasting plate but effectively just curry and rice. But for $9.80 (which isn’t cheap but cheaper than most other options around) it had decent flavours and did the job.Overall quite nice but nothing special.

I don’t really eat a lot of Indonesian cuisine, but I recently had a stand out dish. Indonesian chicken curry – this was one of the favourite dishes amongst the group. The curry was not too spicy, but had a depth of flavour that was satisfying and made you go back for more. Enjoyed eating the pandan lace roti that was served with the curry, only wished there were more pieces to soak up that curry sauce.

Rude staff, she didn’t even talk to me once. just nodding and directing me to edc machine with her head gesture.I ordered ayam sambal hijau and the taste was unfamiliar to my Indonesian tongue. The sambal hijau was not salty enough to be called Indonesian food. The chicken just so so and too dry for my taste.
