Best brunch coffee and Portuguese tarts in Sydney and excellent service ! Highly recommend for lovers of delicious food . Be warned as the tarts are highly addictive! All pastries are made onsite as well!
Grabbed a ‘Prego’ steak sandwich for lunch today, and it was fabulous. Best steak sandwich I’ve had in years. Staff were extremely efficient, and very friendly. Bit expensive, but I’d happily go back.
Best meals around the area in my opinion. Great vegetarian selections. The tarts are a must. I no longer eat them (dietary requirements) but my friend buys a dozen to take away every time we go here.
Heard about this place through Justine Schofield, it didn’t disappoint. I came to sample the famous Portuguese tarts, but was mostly impressed by the super friendly staff and cute people watching spot.
This cafe is located in the precinct of shops in Clovelly and has a bright and open interior, modern wooden tables and a bench at the front. The counter has an array of freshly baked goods. Service was very welcoming and friendly and got a menu quickly. As I peruse the menu, I note it is different to a lot of cafes with different choices like warm rice pudding, zucchini and corn pakodi with spiced tomato chutney, the eggs on toast are 62 degree poached. I note the bread comes with Pepe Saya butter. What I ordered was the Quinoa Egg Bowl that had a poached egg, edamame beans, dried cranberries, broccoli and fried shallots. The flavour was nice and flavoursome and worked together really well. At lunch they offer a burger, salad, grilled stage burger or a nudie burger to cater for the health conscious eastern suburbs people 😉 They also do sandwiches, toasties and kids meals. Drinks include coffee, tea, smoothies, chai, soda press and freshly squeezed juices. aroundtheclockfoodie.com
I enjoyed visiting this relatively new local! The breakfast menu is well varied and delicious (can’t vouch for the lunch menu yet!) and the portuguese tarts are excellent. Coffee is pretty good – probably not the best in the area, but by no means bad! The staff are wonderfully friendly.
A great new local cafe. A lovely selection of seasonal foods. The menu changes regularly so it never gets boring. Friendly and helpful staff. Can get a bit crowded but well worth checking out.
