On our visit to Coffs Harbour CBD we were impressed with the new central mall and shopping centre, so decided to check out the food court and were impressed by the look of the depot. Seated quickly, water brought over and coffees ordered very quickly. Coffee arrived shortly after and was excellent, food order taken when coffee arrived and arrived after a short wait and it was excellent. Top service, ambience and food in a very nice modern but relaxing cafe, very good.
Came here for breakfast one morning, had the bruschetta pizza, the egg and bacon pizza and the breakfast bacon and egg gnocchi. The bruschetta pizza was delicious, really fresh ingredients and the perfect sharing size. The bacon and egg pizza was also great, good size and well cooked. The gnocchi for me personally was a bit of a let down, although it was perfectly cooked and light I found it quite flavourless but my partner really enjoyed it. Definitely would go back
Turned out to be pretty difficult to find a cafe in Coffs. Depot inside the shopping complex had to suffice. Slick service had the order cheerfully taken within a few minutes by the switch in floor manager. I ordered the mushroom risotto which I was pleased to find was pretty damn tasty. Plenty of mushroom and mushroom flavour and not a soak mass of rice at all. Could have easily eaten more. Coffee which I got as a takeaway afterwards was however truly dreadful. Watery and a distinct lack of flavour. Nice cup though. Plenty of seating and nice cafe decor away from the main food court is a bonus. As an aside, if you are going to have the prep areas open to view, it would be reassuring to see it clean and tidy.
Had coffee and eggs Benedict here for breakfast and found it was quite nice. I was a bit difficult in the order because I asked for not hollandaise sauce but asked to add avocado instead. They accommodated for it all. Only thing they can improve on is their coffee. Tasted a tad watered down.
