Food disaster. Don’t eat at the Coast Hotel, the food is absolutely terrible. On a recommendation we went there for dinner.The special $12.50 veal schnitzel looked and tasted like it was left over from lunch, dry and deep fried for way too long.The soft shell crab well wasn’t sure if it was really crab, stale oil and lots of batter.The pale ale battered fish and chips looked good but on first bite the battered fish was over cooked, tasted only of stale oil, dry and also probably left over from lunch. Would’ve been better off with a Pale ale only.It was an appalling dinner, to make matters worse the staff were not receptive to our complaints and managed to get a bit of a laugh over it. Absolutely steer clear of this place.
