Perfect Pizza! After moving to Concord, we have an abundance of choice on Majors Bay Rd. This establishment is worth (the very short) drive and hands down is the best pizza in the area!
Sorrento wood fired has really good Italian food and great pizza, new management doing the place justice again, my go to for my Italian food fix!
The food here is delicious. Service was good, the waiter and waitresses were very friendly and are happy to offer suggestions on the menu if you need it. The ambience is great.
Been there two times. First time was a terror, but second time was good. Not sure where the inconsistency comes from… Maybe some pizzas needs more work?
Great staff. Very friendly and food is always on point. Looking forward to dine at Sorrento again. I really do recommend this restaurant !
Rudest and most incompetent service I have ever encountered. First try for take away pizza I waited something like 40 minutes plus. And I was the first order of the night. How do I know I was the first order of the night? It came out when the counter questioned why they hadn’t made the first order of the night, particularly when it had been paid for, while other orders were going out. That nights order was phoned in and I was told to come in 20 minutes. So this time not wanting to be caught out again I went up with my son close to the 15 minutes we had been advised it would take. Paid at the front counter again and waited out of the way when we were approached by a young dark haired guy with glasses who started telling us our order was 10 minutes away. I advised that makes for a very long 15 minutes and that was it. The young waiter started telling us about their ticketing system and how our order was being processed as fast as it could. In short I was basically told I was a problem and they were just trying to get my order as quickly as possible. Then the waiter said he remembered me from last time causing problems. If the waiter had really recognised me from my previous order he would have recalled I was most patient when they admitted their fault last time. The front counter woman also recalled what had happened and it was clear the waiter was right out of line. But it didn’t stop there. He waent off to the kitchen complaining and carrying on to the point that the manager came out again and offered apologies. To which I asked him if the waiter was his son. I never got an answer. We left with the waiter still carrying on. Lesson learnt. Chronic bad service, chronic bad staff and the pizza wasn’t anything great and certainly not worth dealing with rude staff. Save yourself some aggravation and go to Otto Pezzi. The food is much better and the staff understand the concept of customer service.
We’ve ordered take away pizza several times and it has always been fantastic.Unfortunately our dine in experience was terrible. Despite having a reservation, on arrival we were told that they were too busy and had not allocated a table for us. Was then told we had a table inside but only for an hour, or could be seated outside near the footpath and road (with a 2year old) neither of which were suitable. We eventually worked something out, however service continued to feel chaotic and rude. We felt the waiter staff lack customer skills and not equipped to manage a standard Saturday night.Food was great, but took well over an hour (with half our mains 10mins before others). For take away Sorrento is great, however don’t bother with dine in.
