Went here a while back and now that I think of it, I dont know why I havent been back since. The atmosphere, decor and food were all nothing short of amazing!
Ate here 3 years ago and loved it. Returned to Coogee this year and decided to return to this restaurant with the beautiful decor. We were not disappointed, yet again the food was delicious. Seared scallops, rice paper rolls and pork stuffed prawns for entre. All were so fresh and bursting with flavour. We tried the lamb shank curry, whilst very nice I do prefer a more traditional dish. My favorite was the poached chicken salad (I expexted it to be cold but its warm), its going to be a task to try and find a dish as good as this anywhere in Melbourne.
We need to correct a few things here. Hard to find? Are you serious? This place is on the street wirh a huuuge sign above a huuuge door. Must be blind not to see it. Noisy, yes but it’s not an intimate dining experience with groups of 8plus at tables. Noise can be expected. Food was very good and typically flavorsome as per Vietnamese food. Staff efficient and friendly and all meals arrived in time. Nothing to fault.
Wrong opening hours
Hard to find. Extrememly noisy slow service and food average. Also overpriced for quality of food
Vietnamese Fiends. We had read the reviews on here and decided to give it a go. So happy we did! The food is fabulous! Highly recomend the lotus stem salad and the pan fried snapper fillet (oh, and the banana fritter for dessert!) The wait staff were friendly and attentive and food was brought out in good time. We will definitely be back!
