I was talked into going here against my better judgement after being told how great the food was there. The bbq prawn entree was passable but bland. Ordering a steak was the wrong thing as the amount of tough grissle throughout was dissappopinting and the steak had no flavour. The mushroom sauce had no mushrooms in it and was a gravy heavy with cornflour so after a little taste left it in the the pot. I had also upgraded the steak to a surf an turf with garlic prawns for old time sake but the prawns were exactly the same as the entree and no garlic! The steak was also sitty in oil so after eating the bit I did felt sick. The place was full so I guess people go there because it’s cheap without the cheerful!

Complained to so called manager and was given nothing but excuses and looked us up and down to judge us when the little little man was in dirty shorts and sneakers with a t-shirt. How can this person be the main point of contact for our service men and women who deserve more respect than some unshaven fool in shorts dolling out uninformed statements about respect, If you can’t even respect your position as manager by wearing appropriate attire and leading by example in your job, let alone the fact you work in an RSL. Rather than throwing rules at your patrons you have no idea what they even represent how about showing some respect. I was with an ex-serviceman and my self worked in defence for over a decade. This tiny little man should not be employed without some serious re-training.
Nice view of the beach but food was pretty average. Was given the wrong order – a lamb stew- and decided to go with it. Unfortunately it was lukewarm. Don’t think I’ll be back.
