Great local pizza shop. Lots of choice on the menu (potentially even too much) although there can be little variation from one pizza to the next. Always seems to do a roaring trade in takeaway/delivery. Only seats about a dozen or so people.
Without doubt the best pizzas in the eastern suburbs. Have been a customer for about 15 years and the quality has not changed. Great variety of pastas available as well. Bottle shop for wine virtually next door if choosing to dine in. Strongl, strongly recommend
Cute little ma & pa shop with quirky decor – lots of old movie stars on the walls. The service here is always friendly and the pizzas are not bad.
A bit of a throwback – fantastic. This is unpretentious old-style Australian pizza like they made in the 80s, before the gentrification of pizza in Australia, and perfectly executed. Nothing about it is authentically Italian – thick bases, lots of cheese and a familiar menu of Aussie pizza favourites that leave some grease on the box. If that’s your thing, you will find Jack’s classic style heaps satisfying. Try the Gamberi with olives and extra garlic.
Nothing special. A bit disappointed with my first try of Jack’s pizza. My pizza came out slightly burnt and the pizza in general lacked flavour. The base sauce was dull and lacked any true flavour and the toppings generally reflected the above.Apart from that there were generous toppings and despite getting the small, it was a bit too much for me to finish. Disappointed for the price due to the lack of flavour but would consider another pizza.
I’m stuffed. Never disappoints. Jacks Special is top notch.
Good old fashion pizza, not mass produced, fresh toppings, lots of cheese. If you are going to have an original takeaway pizza like they used to be made, this is THE place!!
