With ultra friendly staff, great coffee, very tasty food and an amazing view/position, this is an awesome little place just 30 metres from the beach.Been coming on an off for a bit over a year and definitely my go to place when in the eastern suburbs. New owner Susie has really stepped it up – all staff are barista trained, good portion sizes and a relaxed atmosphere for young and old. The former ‘lifestyle’ owner seemed determined to run it into the ground (she lasted about 6 months), but Susie has really turned it around in a very short period of time. With an impressive menu that includes the standards but also tasty wraps, salads, fresh muffins etc all made on the premises, there’s something for everyone. Grab a takeaway and sit in the park opposite while your kids play, sit down at a table in the sun outside or a window seat in winter to watch the waves roll in – Morning Glory is a really pleasant dining experience in what is seriously one of the best cafe locations in Australia.

Great little spot with beach view seating in a pedestrianised area, so you can sit out not feeling like youre sitting in the road. Very pleasant lady owner with nice personable service. Not a Coogee local but will return next time Im there looking for refreshments.

We had the beef burger and the steak sandwich. Awesome combination of flavor in both. Also is not very expensive. If you come, try to sit outside cause the view of Cogee Beach in the summer is priceless.
