Its a nice venue for drinks but the quality of the dumplings is not great. Soup dumplings are not the normal soup dumplings. Overcooked and just came in a broth of soup in a bowl. Peking duck pancakes also a bit slimey. Service not great either.
Worst dumplings I’ve ever had and I’ve eaten a lot of them in my life – they’re my fave. Thick chewy pastry and flavourless fillings. Definitely not a dumpling expert in the kitchen! I went when it first opened so maybe it has changed but I’m not sure it’s worth me trying again when I could go to an authentic dumpling place or a dedicated bar instead (if you were going for drinks).
