Great breakfast spot, close to Coogee beach. Also not to be overlooked for dinner. Decent sized kids menu and plenty of choice for adults too. Food is always tasty and well presented. Staff are friendly. The cakes are amazing! They also do a fair few evening specials (Monday night is $20 all you can eat pizza). Coffee is not great but on par with the rest of Coogee.
We came here for brunch on a public holiday. Service was prompt with plenty of wait staff at hand. Coffee was pretty good, however food was rather average. The brekkie roll consisted of cheap sausage, and you have to pay an extra $2 for low quality gluten free bread. The bill ended up rather pricey in general as well.
Very quiet and a very good attention from the people in charge. I chose the risotto with mushrooms, was delicious but maybe was for 2 people because was huge!
After a big heavy lunch on a hot day I needed something light and refreshing on the go. I got this mixed berry frappe based on frozen berries and orange juice. It was super sweet but hit the spot real good.
This is truly one of Coogees best cafes, if for brekkie or lunch everything on the menu looks savage. The seafood salad is the best one I’ve ever had. Deliciousness at its best!!!
The Tropicana cafe is well known amongst the Coogee locals. It offers a large array of breakfast and lunch options, with daily specials for those who are keen on a casual/relaxing dining experience only minutes away from the famous Coogee beach. We often visit Tropicana especially during the summer time. If you’re after a quick bite once getting off the sand, give the fresh wraps a try!
The food is decently sized and quite tasty. Our waitress however wasn’t very clued up on the food. When we asked what fish we were being served, she told us that it’s battered and that’s all she knows.
