Wasn’t expecting much but was really pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. My father grew up in India so I know proper Indian cooking, and this is it! I love the paneer dishes and the okra curry but everything is good. Our new regular on the lower north shore.

The blank walls and paintwork had us thinking we are about to make a mistake when we entered this restaurant. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the flavoursomefood and friendly service. Glad to see the chef’s not afraid to use spices as they should be. Tried the Goan fish curry, Goan Chicken curry and Gobi Manchurian along with Garlic Naan, Roti and Rice. While all dishes were good, the fish curry was exemplary, with the fish just melting inour mouths. While we took our own wine, the place also has a small but decent collection of wines and beers, which are surprisingly reasonably priced. Highly recommended.
We were surprised by this place in the sense that the food was not your typical Indian in Sydney. Their curries were delicate and well-balanced, not heavy and easy to eat. The naan was terrific, very light and fluffy and not oily at all. ‘Medium’ spicy was not hot at all to our taste – ask for hot if you prefer more spice. Service was very friendly and prices are reasonable. We would happily eat here again.
This was a very nice indian resturant with very friendly and nice staff. For entree we had the goan chicken and fried cauliflower but cant remember what the indian name was which both were very tasty, not overly spicy and the indian sauce was lighter than i had at other indian resturants. For main we had curry prawns and eggplant and snowpea curry which again had a mild curry sauce but enough spice to taste good. For my palet i would of like a little more spice and thicker sauce but all the same it was very good curry and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Fantastic food, very rich and flavourful. The home made ice-cream was lovely! The service was outstanding as well, they were very polite and attentive. The chef even came out and asked how everything was and informed us that they had live music on the weekends. Thoroughly enjoyable and would definitely recommend! Can’t wait to go back!
