We consider this the best Indian in the area. Very impressed by lamb shank. A bit surprised by the green samosas but they are packed full of flavour. Cheesy garlic nam bread is heaven.

Nilgiri’s is steps above your typical Indian restaurant. What I love about this place is the amazing staff who are so attentive and serve with the biggest smiles. It makes you want to come back. The food is delicious, I’ve had a few of the Tasting menus and they always ask me if I want anything topped up at no cost. A great place for a date or to take the parents when they’re in town 🙂
Ive been going to Nilgiris since I was 15 years old, and it has never disappointed. The new establishment at Cremorne is a labour of love, and it is evident in the quality of the food. Fresh, innovative alterations to the menu are made regularly depending on the season so theres always something new to look forward to.
Very unsatisfactory- shocked that this restaurant has such a big name! Ordered takeaway- palak paneer and baingan. Palak paneer was really salty and lacked any real flavour. The baingan tasted like an eggplant salad. Too many chives and coriander. I will not order here again.
Fantastic Indian curry. Easily the best I’ve had in Australia. The veggie dishes rank alongside the non-veggie. We’re always well looked after and regular changes in menu keep it fresh. My favourite place to eat out in Sydney.
