Been here using Scoupon voucher for anniversary lunch. Albis Taverna is the new version of Albis Table that already permanently closed. We had shared 8 dishes Italian degustations include water and sparkling wine for two. It divided into:Entree:- oyster with shallots and apple: its taste nice, never had oyster with shallots&apple like this – calamary with paprica lime mayo: fried perfectly, squid not rubbery and very juicy. Paprica lime mayo make it taste better- cured salmon with fennel salad&lemon mayo: the saltiness of cured salmon is really matching with the sweetness of fennel. – buckwheat fried cheese: too salty. Mains:- pork belly with cauliflower puree and red wine sauce: pork cook perfectly, so juicy and no smell at all. I liked the red wine sauce- parpadelle with crab spinner sauce: its good but the sauce too rich.- roasted lamb lag with croquette and balsamic lamb juice: i didnt eat it cause i dont eat lamb, but my husband did. The smell so nice, i just ate the croquette. Dessert:- watermelon sorbet and balsamic: when the waiter explain the menu has balsamic me and hubby was like gelato and balsamic? but actually its taste so nice. – vanilla pannacotta in white chocolate shell with passion fruit mousse and mango sorbet: this is gold, passion fruit mousse and mango sorbet so refreshing! We also got 2 side of kinda cocktail. I just drink a bit and it very strong. My husband didnt drink cause he driving. Overall for $99 menu set we were so satisfied with the food and the service (all waiter and waitress so friendly, helpful…they always change our dirty plates and cutleries with the new clean ones, refill empty bottle of water and clean up our table). Our travel from Wollongong to Cronulla end up with full belly and happy feeling.
